Pushing musical boundaries for over 17 years, Lusinda is a DJ, presenter, and radio host known for her electrifying sets and infectious energy. From the sound systems of London to festivals like Glastonbury and Boomtown, she blends Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, House, and Techno into a vibrant tapestry of sound. With a commitment to championing emerging talent and an extensive radio career across major stations, Lusinda curates cutting-edge music that keeps the dance floor alive!
South America, Europe, USA, Mexico, Kenya, Asia and Russia. She plays up and down the UK forinfamous club nights and is a regular billing on the UK club scene and most top festivals such as Glastonbury, Fusion, Outlook,Boomtown and Notting Hill Carnival.
Djing began with the sound systems in London at the beginning of the noughties; her record label Victim Recordingscontributed to the new wave of Techno known as Wonky/ Bleeps n Bass that emerged in the early 2000s.
Her high energy personality and diverse tune selections plus eclectic taste in music overspills into her sets; ranging throughFunk, Soul, Hip-Hop to House, UKG, Techno and old skool Drum & Bass. She focuses on the raw end of the sound whilst still being both accessible and innovative. In a Lusinda set, you can expect a powerful array of colour, underpinned by fresh ruffbeats and breaks.
Already known as a unique musical curator, representing a vast spectrum of cutting-edge music styles, with an unrelenting passion for natural broadcasting and DJing talent, and an infectious laugh. Her natural skills for not only musical selection but also her choice of guests and knowledgeable interview style set her in a style all of her own, providing a platform foremerging artists and also current and all those that have been influential through the years. She has spun alongside the likes of legendary DJ's such as Salt n Pepa, Mary Anne Hobbs, Mike Skinner (The Streets) Herbalizer, DJ Snuff, Annie Mac, Nadia Rose, Blessed Madonna, Defected Records, Shy FX, Dub Pistols, Dizzy Rascal, Donaeo, Freestylers, DJ Format, Breakage, Noisia, Mr. Thing and The Skints.
With over 13 years on radio, hosting drive time shows on Flex FM, Kool London Origin UK FM, Kane FM and Dejavu FM andguest shows for Rinse, Balaami, 1Xtra, Soho Radio and Rough Tempo to name a few, Lusinda has built up a legion of followerswho relate to her high energy personality and diverse tune selection. Guests on her shows have been Omar, Cleo Sol, Imperial Leisure, The Beatbox Collective, Herbalizer, Andy Smith (Portishead), Joe Skitz Cole (Radio 1), Eva Lazarus, Warrior Queen, Ragga Twins, Catapulte Records (France), Dom Servini (Wah Wah) to name a few.
At the end of 2023 she stated a new record label called Hustler Records with the debut release by herself and The RaggaTwins. 2024 has already been busy with a DJ tour in Italy and a new podcast series called Amplify Your Thoughts.
